Asher Pacey in "Water Over Sand"

August 16, 2017

"Water Over Sand." The most simplistic description of a surfers playing field. True to simplicity, this new video piece directed, captured, and edited beautifully by Matt Kleiner, focuses on Asher Pacey and his affinity for a pure and uncomplicated journey amongst Australia's coastline.

It depicts an adventure we all pine for...escaping the rat race, bee-lining for a remote stretch of coast off the well-worn path, equipped with little more than a swag, surfboard, fishing rod, beers, fun waves, no phone reception and a couple of good buddies to share it all with. Pacey and crew always have that craving to escape the hurried lifestyle of most people's day-to-day, and usually act quickly upon their urges to split to slower paced, wide open spaces.

These dudes are really living the life.
