If you want a chilling horror music video, you go to Roxanne Benjamin, the director of this year’s thrilling anthology film “Southbound” and producer on all three “V/H/S” mumblegore movies. That's exactly who LA-based Cherry Glazerr enlisted for their new music video for the track "Nurse Ratched".
The track is an atmospheric rocker with haunting minor key harmonies that, along with this summer’s “Told You I’d Be With the Guys,” has their new album Apocalipstick shaping up to be one that we're seriously looking forward to. The song originally appeared as the B-side to their 2014 single “Had Ten Dollaz,” but it’s been re-recorded for the new album, and has a creepy and Halloween-appropriate video to go along with it. It starts with a hitchhiker on the side of the road, and takes a delightfully violent turn
Cherry Glazerr have announced details of their first album for Secretly Canadian, which is titled Apocalipstick and will be out January 20. Watch the new video below.
