Adidas and Thrasher came together in order to commemorate the shoe brand's 10th anniversary of their partnership with skate legend Dennis Busenitz, in this first-ever documentary on the humble dude.
The new film titled Up to Speed, gives us a rare and intimate glimpse into the life of Busenitz, who was born in Munich, Germany, and lived his formative years in Newton, Kansas. He later made his way to San Francisco, California where he became a skateboarding icon. The clip showcases Busenitz's unique style and talents, while also celebrating his inspiration on streetwear and skating. It's loaded with tons of classic footage while Busenitz does what he does best. It's also the first time we get to see how he arrived at where he is today, as one of the most respected skaters on the planet.
Up to Speed features friends, fellow pro skateboarders, and others from the industry including Jake Phelps, Keith Hufnagel, Atiba Jefferson, Jim Thiebaud, Skin Phillips, and many more. Watch the new clip below.
