The only thing better than bulldogs and skateboarding, are skateboarding bulldogs, which take precedent on Dinosaur Jr.'s new video for the single “Tiny” off their upcoming album Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not, dropping August 5th on indie label Jagjaguwar.
The video for “Tiny” stars guitar wizard J Mascis’ skateboarding bulldog Beefy, who while snoozing outside J's rehearsal room, dreams up the perfect day with J. The two, obvious best friends, hit the skatepark, where Beefy seems pretty content on a board, and a roller derby where he waits patiently for J to finish his gig.
The track is classic Dinosaur Jr.; alternative rock, aggressively loud while unavoidably catchy. You definitely won't be able to help from swaying back and forth upon first listen.
This is Dinosaur Jr.’s eleventh studio album, featuring all original members (J. Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph) – the trio formed in 1984. Since then, they’ve traversed through some lineup changesbefore finally reforming in 2005, and have somehow remained perpetually at their peak as a band.
