Yesterday, in the caption of an Instagram photo of a clapperboard, Drake named the music video for "God's Plan" as "the most important thing I have ever done in my career..." Today, he dropped the highly anticipated video for the Scary Hours track, and we'd have to agree that this Karena Evans-directed video really tops anything he's put out before.
In recent weeks, Drake had been spotted in Florida taking over a high school and making other big donations to different individuals and organizations. "God's Plan" includes footage of all of those gifts being made, from surprising a son and his mother with a stack of cash., to barging into a supermarket and paying for everyone's groceries. According to a title card at the beginning of the video, the total amount donated was $996,631.90, the entire budget for the music video.
