Back in March Grey Skateboard Magazine went on a trip with some of Converse Cons' European ambassadors - Remy Taveira, Mike Arnold and Sylvain Tognelli - to Nicaragua for two weeks of solid sessions, exploring the ins and outs of the South American paradise.
The short film is a truly authentic video snapshot of the crew's time spent Nicaragua, piecing together clips of them cruising through a mall, local Nicaraguans peddling ice cream on the streets, and makeshift horse-drawn carts, with a ton of seriously well-captured shots of Tognelli, Taveria, and Arnold throwing down some rad maneuvers throughout Nicaragua's colorful cities. Pay attention to the audio and film direction by "Vase"-famed director Jacob Elliott Harris from Grey Magazine, it's what makes the film feel like you're there in the streets with them, and adds so much to the raw candor of the piece overall.
Nicaragua is also accompanied by a special print publication documenting the recent trip and should be arriving in skate shops now. Comprised of Henry Kingsford‘s photography, Nicaragua is a 40-page newsprint publication in full color.
