Entertaining Outtakes From Marc Johnson's Interview For 'Devoted'

November 20, 2017

There is no real journalism anymore! Or at least that's what Marc Johnson thinks, and we can't say that we disagree. We know that digital media is pretty much just a rat race to get up as much content as possible online, no matter how undeserving, and to rack up as much ad money as companies can, leveraging that so-so content they continue to put out each and every day. But listening to Marc Johnson go on about tangible, print media versus the onslaught of digital content we consume and scroll through daily, is just way more entertaining than listening to us blabber on about it.

Taken from what we can imagine was a long interview session with MJ for Lucas Beaufort's recently released documentary Devoted, we get a ton of meandering and insightful outtakes of commentary from one of the most creative dudes in skateboarding.

Watch the just under nineteen-minute clip of an emotional MJ in a straw hat, who at the end of it all can't help for thanking skateboarding for saving his life.
