Own Skateboards has been around for 15 years, all the while, doing their own damn thing; these dudes even make their own boards by hand. Now the crew has finally put out a full-length video called "Made in Germany".
It's a total DIY gem from the Stuttgart-based brand, who is led by Philipp Günther. Günther was born and bred punk, and has always carried an anti-establishment vibe throughout his work and now his skateboard brand. For him, skateboarding was a way to differentiate and separate himself from the 'establishment'. The brand is not just a company, but rather a circle of close friends, skating and creating insanely cool things.
