Sleigh Bells unveiled a thrashing new song “It’s Just Us Now” with an accompanying video directed by the band's own Derek Miller.
The new banger comes as glimpse into Sleigh Bells' first album in three years, Jessica Rabbit, out November 11th. Their fourth LP, and follow-up to 2013’s Bitter Rivals, is this heart-poundingopening track. The clip opens with an all-caps message reading, “AS FAR BACK AS I CAN REMEMBER, I ALWAYS WANTED TO BUILD A FIRE.”
The video then quickly pans to Alexis Krauss, who is sobbing, mascara streaming down her face, in a crystal-clear swimming pool. Later, she's seen running away from an unknown threat, while a bandana-wearing Miller rocks out in a graveyard. Though pretty vague, the visual is still a fairly eerie and intense watch that compliments the charged track.
