Sylvan Esso debuted their newest single, "PARAD(w/m)E," on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week and just dropped the dance-filled video for the bouncing track. Directed by Dan Huiting and produced by Kobamm Productions and Meow Wolf, the video finds vocalist Amelia Meath in an apocalyptic choreographed dance party searching for food amidst a dystopian modern day spaghetti western.
With a pulsating synth arrangement juxtaposed with Amelia's cut-glass vocals, "Parad(w/m)e" is an intoxicating blend of musical influences and astute lyricism, showcasing Sylvan Esso at the top of their game. With a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic album at this year's Grammy's for their most recent album What Now, the band continues to evolve sonically and lyrically, and position themselves at the helm of pioneering pop.
