There aren't many big rock music reunions left. Everyone from Guns N' Roses to Black Sabbath have gotten back together recently, reigniting rock n' roll's dwindling flame in our mostly electronic music mainstream.
While this year has seen an onslaught of unexpected reunions, this one might just take the cake. The original members of Misfits — singer Glenn Danzig, bassist Jerry Only, and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein — will reunite after 30 years at this year’s Riot Fest Chicago along with its offshoot festival, Riot Fest Denver.
Misfits existed in its original incarnation for seven years between 1977 and 1983, releasing a pair of critically acclaimed, trail-blazing punk records in Walk Among Us and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood. And despite the Misftis' ultimate end in the early eighties, their impact on skate culture is undying. So as a toast to the band's upcoming reunion, here's some of the best video parts scored to Misfits.
Side note * These parts involve strictly songs taken from Danzig-era Misfits and the first two Danzig albums.
