Wade Goodall in "Turtle Business"

April 13, 2017

Wade Goodall originally set out to east coast of Australia with good pal Shane Fletcher in search of some swell to get clips. 20 tanks of fuel later, things weren't going to plan, and even thought they got a tip from good friend Taj Burrow about a swell in West Australia, the WSL circus had beat them to it so they decided against a cross-country bolt.

Wade had a handful of clips but wanted more, and decided to hit Indo. The variety of waves over there meant getting tubed and doing airs all in one session. Their patience was rewarded with waves, and the clips they collected for the new video called "Turtle Business" are pretty damn solid. It's exciting to see Wade back in the water (he's been hit by a string of injuries) and getting creative in and out of the ocean. Aside from the surf, Vans recently gave Wade the freedom to put his creativity to use in a collection all of his own, which he did by featuring his art across a select range of products for his California-based sponsor.

Check out the new video below.
