License to Chill - Rock Lobsters

June 15, 2016

Mason Ho and Burger are legit crazy. One of their last episode of "License to Chill" was an insane compilation of Mason and friends taking some of the biggest waves at Waimea this season. Mason always charges like he has nothing to lose, but it's this fifth installment entitled "Rock Lobster", that really makes that statement truth.

Mason and company snap, crawl, climb and surf their way through a North Shore rock maze, literally dropping into waves that break onto an exposed, dry reef. Wearing a GoPro, you can see every wave that Mason comes within inches of smacking his board or head into the rocky reef. This is some seriously dangerous surfing, but makes for some of the most thrilling shit to watch.

Filmed by Rory Pringle and edited by Joe Alani and Mason Ho, this one is a trip.
