There couldn't be a more fitting surf film to mirror the frigid and wet climates that have hit both coasts recently, than filmmaker and director Ben Gulliver's long-awaited cold water odyssey, "The Seawolf," starring Chippa Wilson, Balaram Stack, Noah Wegrich, Noah Cohen, and Pete Devries.
Gulliver and these eight surfers set out on a two-year journey, traveling to the furthest corners of the globe, on a mission to make a cold water feature surf film that was more about surfing that the adventure of exploring in the cold.
"Seawolf" is available now through the iTunes store, for the very reasonable price of $9.99, but in case you need some encouragement to spend that ten-spot, Gulliver has put together a 10-minute flurry of moments that didn't make it into the final cut of the full-length. It's set to a pretty nice soundtrack too that includes a couple tracks composed by Gulliver himself, and one of our favorite bands BADBADNOTGOOD.
