BOSCO has been on the up in Atlanta since 2013. The Georgia native has becomes known for her lush and elastic vocal ability to occupy and maneuver through virtually any genre, most predominately R&B and funky soul.
Over the years she's embodied a more "indie Atlanta," an alternative to the bacchanal city that is portrayed in Georgia's primary sonic export, trap music. From what we've heard of her upcoming album b., there's no doubt that BOSCO is continually pushing the contemporary boundaries of R&B and soul.
Her newest release "Cruel," the third single from b. which is out August 11th on Fool's Gold, is a 90s-tinged groove with dreamy synths, a funky baseline and BOSCO's distinct and breathy vocals. The new album seems to be shaping up nicely; a R&B meets Americana meets chillwave vibe.
