John Respondek has become known for capturing some of the most unique moments in the ocean and surf lifestyle of his closest friends, including Dion Agius, Craig Anderson, Taj Burrow, and Ozzy Wrong, to name a few. His photos are a mix of precision, creativity, and instinct, making innumerable appearances in Surfer Magazine, Surfing World, Stab, Surfing Life, and Tracks.
A normal day for John usually includes traveling and working with some of his best pals, popping off photos and capturing unlikely moments in and out of the water. It seems like for John life is just as much about the good times as it is about the photography.
These days John works and travels almost exclusively with Dion, Craig, Taj and friends. In turn, his photo library of them is extensive, and although the photos have experienced a bunch of published success, in editorial exposure and advertising campaigns, he's started a new photo project that allows all of this imagery a chance to shine. John has recently published and released a new 120-page book compiled with high-impact moments from Dion Aguis.
