About a month ago our team got invited to shoot a behind the scenes video of the making of Party Favor's new video for his latest single, “Bust Em”. It was a rambunctious and fun set, and at the time, we were anxious to see how an ultimate battle between an evil robot and particular forces of good - a green alien-looking woman, an army man, and a caped superhero - would play out in the final cut.
Filled with superheroes, monsters, and a pair of toddlers, “Bust Em's" acoompanying video follows a science experiment gone bad, when a doctor electrocutes life into a massive robot who turns on him. Set to the incessant trap build-ups and drops that make up Party Favor's jock-jam style track, a battle ensues between various superheroes and monsters, as dictated by a pair of toddlers.
The Mad Decent producer known for tracks like “Bap U” and “Booty Loose” has been in the studio working on his anticipated upcoming EP. This album is set for a release this year, and will be Party Favor’s first full-length EP. This summer will be a busy one for the LA-based artist with scores of tour dates lined up as well as a number of festival appearances. If you get the chance, be sure to catch his sets at Lollapalooza, EDC, and the Mad Decent Block Party this year.
Keep your eyes peeled for our behind the scenes look at Party Favor's new vide for "Bust Em".
