In what has become a much anticipated yearly event, The San Pedro Shred: Festival of Skate hosted hordes of skaters and locals over the weekend as they enjoyed live music from a range of local acts - including Mike Watt and the Secondmen and Toys that Kill - and everything from a downhill course, to both street and transition skating.
The San Pedro Shred: Festival of Skate is the first-ever sanctioned skateboarding festival in the greater Los Angeles area and has quickly become a community-driven event featuring local food, local music, and local skateboarding. San Pedro stands as the perfect backdrop for the skate festival as the small city has become widely known for it's talented skaters and undying skate community.
We stopped by Shred Fest on Sunday and snapped these polaroids. Another great event, with an even greater turnout.
