Vissla's "Island South"

October 19, 2016

Vissla recently took their new wetsuits to New Zealand and had Bryce Young, Brendon Gibbens and Eric Geiselman ramp out in the frosty Kiwi waters of the South Island in them.

The trip began as simply an idea in their minds. The three of them had been scoring some epic el Niño swells at home, but they came at the high price of social media spot blowouts, crowds, and angry girlfriends. Eric, Bryce, and Brendon needed to get out and away and decided to spin a globe, looked at the charts and dialed in their location.

Watch the boys get down in the cold and completely remote location where they surfed with seals that looked like lions and were greeted on the beach by penguins.
